Sometimes in 2020, Instagram recommended Desola’s account as someone I might know. Intrigued, I visited her profile to check her out and her stunning beauty caught my attention. I thought to myself, “I may have found my future life partner” Back then, she resided in Boston. Believe me, if I had my way, I would have married her but, life isn’t always perfect. I also found out that she wasn’t prepared for a relationship, and truth be told, I wasn’t completely ready either so, I kept my cards close to my chest.

   IFrom the moment I met Posi, I knew our connection was something special. We had always known about each other and even had the same circle of friends. But it wasn’t until August 2014 that our story truly began. It all started with a tweet. I had shared something on Twitter and a mutual friend of ours quoted my tweet and responded to it, which led Posi to also respond. This simple act led to our first unofficial interaction.  I had been planning his 30th birthday surprise dinner for months because I wanted it to be perfect, he really deserved it. A few weeks to the birthday dinner, his younger sister convinced him to propose earlier and hinted that I was planning something for him and it would be a wonderful way to surprise me. I started to suspect literally all my friends because I’m able to pick on the tiniest detail but he managed to sell me another story about some other event happening on his birthday (the surprise party was set for the day before) and I believed he would propose on his actual birthday instead.
